Life from the Passenger Side

Optical HelpI needed to get my glasses fixed the other day. One side of the frame that holds the lens was loose and about to let go.So down I go to our local optical shop, Pacific Eyeware, to enlist the help of Vivian.  Off she goes into the backroom workshop. If you asked me on the street I might not even own up to the fact that I ever notice the postings.Often though, most

Life From the Passenger Side

Super Bowl Sundayit’s not like I spend any real time thinking about or planning for Super Bowl Sunday. But, I do look forward to it each year. I am old enough to remember when we didn't have such an event. Now that I think about it, there was the feeling at the time that something was lacking. We couldn't quite put our finger on it. Oh, we were grateful for all the football Sunday's we got back
